REOPENING OF THE LAC VENUE


On June 26th, 2020, the MASI’s LAC venue will reopened to the public, in accordance with current sanitary measures and social-distancing rules, with the "Lois Hechenblaikner. Ischgl and more. A pop-up project(ion)" exhibition: a projection of photographs by Austrian photographer Lois Hechenkblaikner meticulously documenting the irreverent side of the Ischgl ski resort. The exhibition will be displayed until 6 September 2020. Admissions are free.

Artist Talk

Lois Hechenblaikner will kick-off MASI’s Artist Talk series as part of LAC’s en plein air program. The photographer – to whom MASI is dedicating the exhibition “Lois Hechenblaikner. Ischgl and more. A pop-up project(ion)” in display at our LAC venue until September 6 – will discuss his long-term documentary work through which he has been collecting the various facets of Tyrolean winter tourism. For the occasion, the Museum will stay open from 7.30pm to 8.30pm.

Bally Artist of the Year Award 2020
SLOGANISM AND SLOGANISMS

The Bally Foundation, in collaboration with MASI, launches the contest to declare the winner of the Bally Artist of the Year Award 2020.

The theme of this thirteenth edition revolves around the word and the concept of slogan.

The competition will remain open until October 30th, 2020 and is accessible to both individuals and groups, either born or currently residing in the Swiss Canton of Ticino, with no age restrictions.
