MASI’s three-storey LAC venue has a total surface area of 2,500 square metres, which includes 1,900 square metres of exhibition space to stage ambitious projects and present the works of the collection to its best effect.
The museum, housed within LAC’s cultural centre, occupies one side of Lugano’s Piazza Bernardino Luini, running parallel to the former Palace Hotel. Its façade ends in an oblique angle overlooking the lake, allowing visitors to admire the stunning views through its panoramic window front.
The streamlined, flexible and well-lit interiors are constructed to state-of-the-art standards of conservation and security, enabling them to house a wide variety of exhibition projects.
