for richard paul lohse - Sound Installation
No dates in calendar
Listening to sounds that seem to “float” in the air, accompanying Richard Paul Lohse’s paintings in an imaginary dance: this is the evocative experience awaiting the public during the UBS Open Day.
For the occasion, Lohse’s works, with their geometric structures and modulated colours, are translated into music in an installation that transforms images into sound. Through the sonification created by composer Nadir Vassena, Lohse’s paintings become synthetic sound sequences that generate a continuous acoustic landscape.
At regular intervals, cellists Claude Hauri and Clelia Saffiro enrich this sonic dimension with brief live performances, creating an experience of unexpected and profound nuances.
