At 11 am on Sunday 18th February 2024, Tobia Bezzola, the director of MASI, will be presenting the book Il tempo passa troppo presto. Lettere alla famiglia in conversation with Casimiro Di Crescenzo, art historian and editor of the book, which, for the first time, gathers a large selection of the letters Giacometti sent to his family in the Bregaglia Valley, in the original Italian version.
Commissioned by Alberto Giacometti Stiftung in Zurich, the Italian edition is published by Edizioni Casagrande (Bellinzona), and the English and German editions by Scheidegger & Spiess (Zurich).

Casimiro Di Crescenzo lives and works in Venice. In the capacity of curator or artistic advisor, he has contributed to several exhibitions of Alberto Giacometti’s work in Europe, including the exhibition on Ottilia Giacometti at the Kunsthaus Zurich in 2020. He is a member of Comité Giacometti in Paris and directs the Armando Pizzinato Archive in Venice.
Tobia Bezzola has been director of the Museo d'arte della Svizzera italiana since 2018. In 2001 he was co-curator of the major retrospective held on the occasion of Alberto Giacometti's centenary, organised by the Kunsthaus Zurich and MoMA New York.
